PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize load sharing using inexpensive circuit components with reduced power losses, by connecting input sides of a plurality of DC-DC converters in series and equalizing an input voltage to each DC-DC converter. SOLUTION: The switching power supply unit comprises an output voltage error detecting means, an input voltage variation detecting means, and a control means. The output voltage error detecting means detects an output voltage of a DC-DC converter and forms an error signal. The input voltage variation detecting means detects a voltage corresponding to an input voltage to each DC-DC converter and forms a variation signal. The control means controls driving of the DC-DC converters when the variation signal of the output voltage error detecting means and the variation signal of the input voltage variation detecting means are input.
