PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a radiation image conversion panel which makes it possible to laminate a thin protective film onto a stimulable phosphor sheet without any wrinkles or folds, has good picture quality and also eliminates the necessity of exorbitant plant investment. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the radiation image conversion panel, at least a stimulable phosphor layer is laminated on a support and the protective film is glued onto the stimulable phosphor layer through the medium of a bonding layer. When the protective film is glued, heat treatment is conducted at the temperature of the softening point of a glue or higher after the protective film where the glue is laminated is pressurized to be glued onto the surface of the stimulable phosphor layer at room temperature.
