In a conventional power shovel with a fluid-feeding device, a fluid pump, a fluid tank, etc. are added on an upper rotating body of a conventional power shovel. This has involved problems such as difficulty in supplying fluid, small tank capacity, instability caused by a high center of gravity, and poor traveling capability on a rough road. Such problems are solved by constructing a shovel such that integral tanks are provided at leg portions, showing an X shape in the plan view, of a lower traveling body, a central tank and a fluid pump for hydraulic drive are arranged at the central portion of the lower traveling body, and two to four ballast tanks are arranged on the upper part of the lower traveling body. Further, pressurized oil is fed through a swivel joint at the central portion, fluid in the ballast tanks can be transferred in a direction that increases stability of the shovel, and the shovel can be connected to a water supply vehicle such as a tank trailer.
|
