<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer performing print processing according to print data being fed from a plurality of host computers in which printing can be carried out at a print time specified by each host computer. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of host computers PC 1-PC 3 are connected with a network line and print data is fed from the host computers PC 1-PC 3 to a printer 1. The printer 1 is set with print orders, in the form of ID numbers, from the information of print operating time in the past and the ID numbers are transmitted simultaneously to the host computers PC 1-PC 3. Print processing based on the print data is carried out according to the ID numbers.
