PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for a vehicle capable of directing an infra-red ray sensor certainly toward the driver/passenger(s). SOLUTION: The air-conditioner for the vehicle includes an infrared ray sensor 21 mounted on a vertical louver 15 of swing type installed at a driver seat side center blowout hole 11 for blowing out the air into the cabin and is structured so that the direction of the infrared sensor 21 changes with swinging of the vertical louver 15, whereby air-conditioning control is conducted on the basis of the temperature data sensed by the infrared sensor 21.
