PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LCD device having a simple structure and having both a highly accurate positioning function of an LCD panel and a preventing function of electrostatic destruction of the LCD device and to provide an electronic device capable of achieving simplification of assembly by mounting the LCD device on the electronic device. SOLUTION: An LCD assembly 13 is placed on an electric wiring base plate 101 fixed to a camera main body and the LCD assembly 13 is attached to the camera main body loosely with a screw 102 by utilizing a hole 1331a of a supporting piece 1331. A display window 100a of an exterior cover 10a is then inserted in the peripheral edge of the LCD panel 132 to perform positioning by the contour of the display window 100a. At this time, a grounding piece having a spring structure is pressed by the contour of the window 100a and brought into press contact with a ground surface to ground the LCD device for preventing electrostatic destruction.
