PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economically manufactured structure for a side ditch wherein a lid is brought into point or line contact with a side ditch main body, thereby preventing rattling and noises. SOLUTION: A side ditch block 10 is provided with an inclined slope surface 32 inside a main body-side bearing portion 30 of an opening 11 thereof, and the lid 20 has projections 22 linearly formed on a bottom surface 29 thereof, in a manner making contact with the slope surfaces 32. Because a sound absorbing structure is implemented on the bottom surface 29 of the lid without increasing the thickness of the lid 20, each projection 22 is manufactured to a size enabling accurate concrete formation of the projection with with rigidity, and is shaped into a form that is further suitable for sound absorption.
