<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the cassette detection error in a tape cassette of a cassette case having high transparency. SOLUTION: The tape cassette TC used for a device for detecting the presence or absence of the tape cassette TC by whether the detecting light from a light emitting part 12a on the device side arrives at a light receiving part 12b on the device side or not is formed with the cassette case 20 of a material having high transparency. The point corresponding to on an optical path C1 of the detecting light of the cassette case 20 is provided with prism parts 23 and 24 which refract or reflect incident light in an exit direction where the light does not arrive at the light receiving part 12b.</p> |
