<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a fan-out optical cord provided with an optical filter function. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber tape 8 is fixed in a recessed part 28 of a tape fixing base 25. A filter insertion groove 25a is formed in the tape fixing base 25 so as to cut and traverse the optical fiber tape 8. An optical filter 13 is inserted and bonded in this filter insertion groove 25a to form an optical filter structure 22. A plurality of optical fibers can be provided with an optical filter function by attaching only one sheet of an optical filter 13 thereto. The fan-out optical cord can be manufactured with high efficiency compared with a conventional one for which each optical connector is provided with an optical filter, and can be reduced in costs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
