PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvesting apparatus for a field crop with which efficiency in harvesting operation of a large amount of field crops is retained and a space is not occupied and which is compacted. SOLUTION: This harvesting apparatus for the field crop is equipped with a storage part 1 which temporarily stores a standardized article transported from the upstream side before housing the standardized article in a housing container C and transporting the stored standardized article to the housing container C. When the housing container C is changed, the transportation action of the storage part 1 is stopped, the standardized article transported from the upstream is stored, and after the change of the housing containers C, the transportation action of the storage part 1 is reopened.
