PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maraging steel strip which has excellent fatigue strength properties by reducing the size of the oxide based non-metallic inclusions remaining in the maraging steel strip. SOLUTION: The high purity Ca-containing maraging steel strip comprises, by mass, 0.0005 to 0.01% Ca, and in which A value in accordance with the following formula is≥1.5: A value=(mass% Ca)/(mass% O). Preferably, oxide based nonmetallic inclusions included in the maraging steel strip consists mainly of CaO based nonmetallic inclusions. The steel strip preferably has a chemical composition comprising, by mass,≤0.01% C, 8.0 to 22.0% Ni, 7.0 to 20.0% Co, 2.0 to 9.0% Mo,≤2.0% Ti,≤0.2% Al,≤0.0020% O,≤0.0030% N and 0.0005 to 0.01% Ca, and the balance substantially Fe.
