<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control method by which work efficiency is improved and printing to a sheet in size optimum to a user is easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: When a copying machine A101 simultaneously gives a printing instruction to the copying machine A101 and a copying machine B102 over a network, the copying machine B102 side performs printing processing even if the the copying machine A101 has no sheet of an optimum size if the copying machine B102 has the sheet of the optimum size. In addition, when the copying machine B102 side has the sheet of the optimum size, the user is notified in that the copying machine B102 has the sheet of the optimum size to prevent the user from selecting a sheet of an another size to perform printing in the copying machine A101 (S108, S109 and S110). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
