PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube capable of lowering a drive voltage at a beam current modulation without entailing refinement of a structure of a field emission cathode. SOLUTION: A cathode structure 1, a first electrode 2, a second electrode 3, a focusing electrode 4 and a final accelerating electrode 5 are arranged sequentially facing toward a screen side. The cathode structure 1 is provided with a field emission cathode 7 fitted on an insulating board 6, a plurality of voltage supply leads 8 supplying potentials to an electrode constituting the field emission cathode 7, and voltage supply terminals 9 connected to the voltage supply leads 8.
