Traffic light has at least two different color traffic lamps (3) with respective light sources that are supplied with electric power in a controlled manner. Light emitting diodes (5) arranged in circles are used as light sources for the individual lamps. The individual LEDs are incorporated directly in the inner side of the lamp front screen (4).
