GAS CUTOFF METHOD AND GAS CUTOFF FIXTURE WHEN GAS PIPE IS DAMAGED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cutoff method and a gas cutoff fixture when a gas pipe is damaged to shut off the gas leakage from the small sized gas pipe that is damaged suddenly by keeping the damage as it is to the utmost.

SOLUTION: In a case the gas leaks from an opening 21 formed when a gas pipe 20 buried in an underground is damaged, an injection pipe 51 of the gas cutoff fixture 50 is inserted into the gas pipe 20, a foaming agent 60 is jetted into the gas pipe 20 through the injection pipe 51 from a pressure vessel 53 and the foaming agent 60 is expanded in the gas pipe 20 to shut off the gas.
