DUST COLLECTING DEVICE AND VACUUM CLEANER USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting device and a vacuum cleaner using it which make it possible to decrease frequency in the occurrence of jamming of a filter by improving dust collecting and capturing efficiency in a cyclone space and also to realize miniaturization. SOLUTION: A cyclone cylinder (an outer filter fixture 11) is arranged inside a dust box 10 placed in a sucking path. The cyclone space 22 is formed between the cyclone cylinder and the dust box 10. A wide part 22a having a path width wider than other parts is provided in a part of a path of the cyclone space 22. A sectional shape of the dust box 10 is formed approximately in a D-cut shape. A central axis of the cyclone cylinder is eccentric toward an arc part of the approximate D-cut shape with respect to a central axis of the dust box 10 before the D-cut. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
