PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a split-face tile of high quality which is effectively and surely split in a splitting process, by effectively utilizing wastes as a material. SOLUTION: Waste mud and a waste fine grain material are used as a main raw material, and cement, a hardener and required water are mixed and kneaded in this raw material. A block body 10 is obtained by extrusion molding while deaerating this mixture by vacuum suction. The block body 10 is, then, dried without baking, and is divided into two in the thickness direction with a dividing blade C to obtain a split-face tile 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
