PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven capable of performing excellent toast-cooking by providing a separate toast cooking chamber demarcated from a high frequency cooking chamber. SOLUTION: The microwave oven includes a body 10 demarcated into a high frequency cooking chamber 11, a toast-cooking chamber 12 and an electric equipment chamber 13, a high frequency generation unit provided in the electric equipment chamber 13 to generate high frequency in the high frequency cooking chamber 11, a heating unit provided in the toast-cooking chamber 12 to heat the toast-cooking chamber 12, and a ventilation unit to ventilate the toast-cooking chamber 12.
