<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing made of synthetic resin that can prevent ingress of dust, rainwater, muddy water and the like from outside into space where a sliding bearing piece is arranged, without separately providing a dust cover or the like, can minimize deterioration of sliding characteristics resulting from the ingress of dust, rainwater, muddy water and the like, can further maintain smooth steering force at the time of steering operation for a long time, and can improve rigidity of strut assembly, and to provide a mounting structure of a strut type suspension using this sliding bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding bearing 1 made of synthetic resin is equipped with a lower side case 2 made of synthetic resin, an upper side case 3 made of synthetic resin and superposed on the lower side case 2, a disk-shaped thrust bearing piece 4 made of synthetic resin and arranged between the upper side case 3 and the lower side case 2, and a cylindrical radial sliding bearing piece 5 made of synthetic resin and arranged between the upper side case 3 and the lower side case 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
