The tray for several mainly cylindrical objects in two rows consists of a one-piece blank of corrugated cardboard with a base (3) from which vertically extend two sidewalls (4,5), and with two end walls which each consist of flaps glued together and connected to the base and/or sidewalls. The two rows of objects are offset in relation to each other by half the diameter of an object. The two end walls in plan are stepped in such a way that they each consist of two edge sections (8,9) connected to the sidewalls and offset in relation to each other by half the object diameter, and a center section (10) connecting them.
