PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep machine type counter performances in the reel body of a double bearing reel. SOLUTION: A water depth display part 4 is attached to the upper part of the side of the reel body and has a machine type counter 10 and a case member 11. The machine type counter 10 has the revolving shaft 120 of the counter and a disk part 121 unrotatably attached to the revolving shaft 120 of the counter. The case member 11 has the inside in which the counter 10 is held, a reset switch 11a for resetting the counter 10 to zero, a cleaning hole 12 for cleaning the counter 10 with water and a cap 13 to be detachably attached to the cleaning hole 12.
