PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition most suitable for various types of outdoor coating which has excellent contamination-controlling performance, especially an excellent capability of decontaminating oil dirt, permits easy wiping up of any scribble and is also excellent in weather resistance and adhesion. SOLUTION: The composition comprises (A) one or more of fluoroolefin resins having functional groups and nonfluorinated acrylic resins having functional groups, (B) one or more silicon-containing fluorine compounds selected from (B1) silicon-containing fluorinated low molecular compounds of the formula: RfSi(OR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>n</SB>(R<SP>2</SP>)<SB>3-n</SB>(wherein Rf is a low molecular weight fluorine-containing group) and (B2) silicon-containing fluorinated compounds of the formula: YSi(OR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>n</SB>(R<SP>2</SP>)<SB>3-n</SB>(wherein Y is a high molecular weight fluorinated radical) and, if necessary, (C) a curing agent.
