The drill for drilling a plastic pipe (R) has a holder fittable into the pipe and a drill (10) with a drill head (11) having a cutter on its side facing the pipe. The cutter-opposing side of the drill has a drive shaft (14) which can be rotated. The drive shaft is tubular and has a coaxial push out rod (15) within it to remove the cut waste.
