<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of expecting operability improvement when inputting or the like in an image display apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When a housing 50 is held by a right hand, a protrusion 51 is formed near the thumb position, and arranged on it is a cross operation piece 52 of a cross cursor input device.
