<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To examine a welding status in a head with precision in a short time without using an expensive apparatus for X-ray examination or inspection with an endoscope, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The hollow golf club head includes: a visual check hole M for visually checking the inner side 13 of a welding part from the outside of the head; and a light source hole K for inserting a light source 30 for illuminating the inner side 13 of the welding part.
