PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking mechanism for an expanding part of a mobile shelter, which allows locking and unlocking operation by the use of the same locking parts on the outside, thus facilitates a locking operation and simplifies the structure of the locking mechanism. SOLUTION: The mobile shelter 1 has the expanding part 4, which is incorporated telescopically into a body 3, and is pushed out of the body 3 to be expanded and is pulled into the body 3 to be housed. The locking mechanism 14 for the expanding part 4 comprises a locking parts 23 arranged on the lower and upper parts at the outside on a side end of an opening 2 of the body 3, respectively, and operated from the outside, housing lock holders 24 arranged on the expanding part 4 at the positions where the locking parts 23 can be locked on the lock holders 24 upon housing the expanding part, respectively, and expanding lock holders 25 arranged on the expanding part 4 at the positions where the locking parts 23 can be locked on the lock holders 25 upon expanding the expanding part, respectively.
