PURPOSE: An automatic gearshift lever guide is provided to prevent a backup light from being turned on when an automatic gearshift lever is moved to a drive range to advance a parked vehicle, by arranging a reverse range on the sides of other speed ranges. CONSTITUTION: An automatic gearshift lever guide guides the movement of an automatic gearshift lever(50). Speed ranges of the automatic gearshift lever are indicated in the automatic gearshift lever guide. A parking range(71), a neutral range, and a drive range(73) are arranged in a line. A reverse range(81) is arranged on the side of the neutral range to shift by moving the automatic gearshift lever to the side. The automatic gearshift lever guide comprises a groove(60) guiding the movement of the automatic gearshift lever and speed range indication parts(70,80) formed on the sides of the groove and displaced as characters, to make a driver easily ascertain driving conditions selected via the automatic gearshift lever.
