<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that prevents an envelope or sheets of paper placed one on another, used as transfer mediums, from wrinkling, also prevents an image defect even in use of plain paper, and improves the durability and fixing capability of two rollers. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device makes the linear velocity of a heat roller member and that of a pressure roller member different from each other only when an envelope or two or more sheets of paper placed one on another are used as transfer mediums. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
