PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detach a wash bowl from a cabinet by simple disassembly/detachment work without damaging the cabinet. SOLUTION: In the method, a cutting tool 4 whose section is L-shaped with an edge part 7 at the top is struck into a corner part on the upper end surface 2A of a cabinet side panel 2B along the inner corner, and an adhesive 9 present between the upper end surface 2A of the cabinet and the lower surface of the wash bowl 3 is cut with the edge part 7 of the cutting tool 4 to detach the wash bowl 3 from the cabinet 2. One flat plane part 6B and the edge part 7 of the cutting tool 4 whose section is L-shaped is inserted between the lower surface 3A of the wash bowl and the upper end surface 2A of the cabinet while jointed to the surfaces, and another flat plane part 6A and the edge part 7 are guided while jointed to the cabinet side panel 2B.
