PURPOSE: Provided are a fluorine-containing acrylate or methacrylate monomer having excellent moisture content and oxygen permeability, and a crosslinker, and a soft lens prepared from the same. CONSTITUTION: The fluorine-containing acrylate or methacrylate monomer is represented by formula 2. In the formula 2, R is H or CH3, R' is (CH2)b-Rf-(CH2)c-OH, Rf is C1-C18 fluoroalkyl or C1-C18 fluorocycloalkyl, and each of b and c is an integer of 1-4. A fluorine-containing polyacrylate or polymethacrylate is prepared by the method comprising the steps of (i) preparing a mixture solution comprising the fluorine-containing monomer, a fluorine-containing crosslinker of formula 5, and a radical initiator, and (ii) providing the mixture solution with heat to induce a thermal polymerization.
