PURPOSE: An angular position sensor working to measure high linearity magnetic flux density is provided to reduce system load by determining an absolute angle of a rotation shaft having high linearity. CONSTITUTION: An angular position sensor working to measure high linearity magnetic flux density includes a hard magnetic member, a soft magnetic member, and a flux density measuring sensor. The angular position sensor working to measure high linearity magnetic flux density is designed in such a manner that the hard magnetic member uniformly generates an amount of magnetic flux within the range of a predetermined angle in a circumferential direction. The hard magnetic member connected to a rotation member has a circumference part and is magnetized in the circumferential direction in order to generate a magnetic field. The soft magnetic member is arranged in the magnetic field generated by the hard magnetic member.
