APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING UPLINK CONTROL CHANNEL DATA IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving uplink control channel data in a mobile communication system are provided to simultaneously transmit and receive control information of an uplink initial transmission traffic channel and a re-transmission traffic channel. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal receives ACK/NACK with respect to a traffic channel that is previously transmitted from a base station and information related to a maximum data transmission speed of an initial transmission traffic channel to be transmitted in the next frame and a re-transmission traffic channel from the base station(601). The mobile terminal determines whether to transmit the re-transmission traffic channel of the next frame on the basis of the received ACK/NACK(602). If performing of the re-transmission in the next frame is determined, the mobile terminal determines a data transmission speed of an initial transmission traffic channel to be transmitted in the next frame(603). If the data transmission speed of the initial transmission traffic channel is determined as a value which is not Okbps, the mobile terminal transmits control information on the initial transmission traffic channel to be transmitted in the next frame and the re-transmission traffic channel to the base station(605).
