METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ORGANIC-INORGANIC COMPOSITE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic-inorganic composite having satisfactory conductivity at a room temperature and capable of forming a solid electrolyte with ionic conductivity of an enhanced membrane quality, in consideration that a prior organic-inorganic composite composed of a conventional sol-gel composition has unsatisfactory performance as an ionic conductive polymer at a room temperature. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the organic-inorganic composite comprises a step of forming a condensate by a thermal reaction between a three functional metallic compound and an organic polymer having a moiety reactable with a reactive group of the metallic compound and a step of forming a net work polymer by adding water. The solid electrolyte of an enhanced membrane quality with satisfactory conductivity at a room temperature is provided by dispersing an electrolyte into the polymer to make the solid electrolyte.
