PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting method for food for transporting the food to be handled at low temperatures in a foldable cold reserving container, which can reduce an amount of expensive dry ice used to further reduce the cost. SOLUTION: The transporting method for food includes steps of housing the food to be handled at low temperatures in the foldable cold reserving container and supplying dry ice and a cold storage agent to the container for transportation. In addition, a cold reserving container having a vacuum heat insulating plate embedded in an inner layer of a bottom plate is used as the foldable cold reserving container in the transporting method.
