<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a metallic siding material with high grade feeling cannot be manufactured because an emboss pattern cannot be surely coated with a coating. <P>SOLUTION: When the position of a work W fed to a transfer conveyor 12 is determined by a laser marker 13, a work detection sensor 14 detects the supply of the work W and transmits a conveyor stop drive signal for stopping driving the conveyor 12. The position of a protrusion plate 9 of a coating roll 5 and the position of the emboss pattern F of the work W are synchronized, and a proximity sensor 10 is activated by rotation of the coating roll 5, and a conveyor drive signal is outputted to start driving the conveyor 12. While a work sensing sensor 15 is detecting the work W, the driving of the conveyor 12 is continued in a state of reserving the conveyor stop drive signal, and the work W is inserted between the coating roll 5 and a pressurizing roll 6 for coating the work W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
