PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently obtaining a coated molded article having a uniform coating surface in non-wasteful thickness. SOLUTION: In the mold for manufacturing the coated molded article by injecting a mixture containing a norbornene type monomer into a mold comprising a cavity mold and a core mold and subjecting the same to crosslinking polymerization to obtain a molded article, and applying a coating material to the molded article by an in-mold coating method, the space between the cavity mold and the core mold is reduced when the mold claming pressure of the mold after the injection of the coating agent is increased.
