PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latching mechanism of a travel guide apparatus, which can be realized in a simple structure at a low cost. SOLUTION: This latching mechanism 40 of the travel guide apparatus is attached to a furrow opener 10 for lifting or lowering a furrow opening wheel 9 for guiding the travel direction of the machine frame 5 of a transplanter 1 in interlock with a reciprocating site of the transplanter 1. The furrow opening wheel 9 is alternately switched to a lifted state or to a lowered state for each reciprocating movement of the reciprocating site. The latching mechanism 40 contains a cycling cam groove supported on the machine frame 5 and a cam follower disposed at the reciprocating site and engaged with the cycling cam groove.
