<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging management method for upright leaf vegetables or the like, which maintains freshness of upright leaf vegetables, prevents damage to the leaf vegetables by external force, eliminates time and effort needed for preparation for display in store, prevents collapse of the packages, and makes it easy to see goods packaged in. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging management method allows distribution of leaf vegetables 3 or the like while keeping them in upright positions. In the packaging management method, the leaf vegetables 3 harvested from fields are stored in a transparent tubular packaging container 1 such that they are in upright positions which are the same as positions in which the leaf vegetables are grown, the container 1 being formed by inflating and molding a synthetic resin sheet. A lid 2 is provided as required, thereby preparing each individual package B. The individual packages are arranged on a plate-like tray 4, put in an outer box 5, and then shipped.
