PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent silicone adhesive member combining excellent transparency and heat resistance, being free of optical strain and having excellent applying properties. SOLUTION: The member is for adhering an optical functional layer to the displaying surface of an optical display and is composed of an organopolysiloxane cross-linked product formed by hardening a silicone composition comprising a specified organopolysiloxane having, on average, a 0.5 or more alkenyl group bonded to a silicon atom in the molecule, an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having two or more hydrogen atoms bonded to a silicon atom in the molecule and a hardening catalyst. The cross-linked product has a storage elastic modulus G' at 25°C of 5×10<SP>4</SP>to 5×10<SP>8</SP>Pa.
