摘要 PURPOSE: A frame protocol and a system and a method for scheduling transmission of data streams from a broadcast server to one or more client devices are provided to propose an acceptable mobile device solution by improving a transmission scheduling method and a system thereby. CONSTITUTION: A data structure of a computer-readable medium includes a frame header packet, a table of content packet, and a packet. The frame header packet is located in a predetermined slot of a current transmission frame. The frame header packet includes a table of contents locations definition field. The table of content packet is located in a flexible slot location of the current transmission frame. The flexible slot location is determined by an entry in the table of contents locations definition field of the frame header. The table of contents packet identifies shared data streams that are located in a subsequent transmission frame. The packet is located in another flexible slot location of the current transmission frame. The packet is associated with an entry in another table of contents packet from a previous transmission frame. Each table of contents packet is a forward-looking index that indexes packets in subsequent transmission frames.
