<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an existing PC and software installed on the PC, and to properly manage a phase of a document. <P>SOLUTION: A server 22 transmits a document file to a predetermined user with the document file attached to an e-mail, together with a status management sheet described with a worker and working status. In a client machine, the attached document file is read by use of the existing software and entered into the document if necessary, and the working status inside the status management sheet is updated in response to input of the working status of the user. The server refers to the status management sheet attached to the sent-back e-mail, updates status of the document file inside a status management DB 38, specifies a worker in the next process, updates the worker inside the status management sheet, refers to a mail address DB 40, acquires the next worker, and transmits an e-mail to the next worker. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
