PURPOSE: An in-plane switching mode LCD(liquid crystal display) is provided to prevent light leakage in a blue line. CONSTITUTION: An in-plane switching mode LCD includes a liquid crystal panel, a plurality of gate lines and data lines(94a), pixel electrodes, common electrodes, and a dummy data line(94b). The liquid crystal panel includes an active region, a dummy region and a pad region. The gate lines and data lines are arranged in an intersecting manner to define pixel regions. The pixel electrodes and common electrodes are formed on the pixel regions. The dummy data line is arranged in the dummy region in parallel with the data lines and short-circuits with the (n-1)th data lines.
