PURPOSE: A data service device using a wireless VoIP terminal device and a method therefor are provided to convert a wireless VoIP terminal device into a WLAN or a Bluetooth adapter, and to interwork the converted terminal device with a device that does not have a data service interface, thereby easily expanding a data network. CONSTITUTION: An RF portion(100) performs modulation/demodulation processes for wireless transceiving. An MAC/baseband processor(103) controls the RF portion(100), and processes analog data by carrying out a wireless protocol. A controller(104) controls a wireless physical layer when a mode is selected according to a user interface program. A wired interface portion(105) is determined whether to operate by the controller(104), and is connected to a terminal or a device that does not have an interface for a data service. A key input portion(107) inputs a user command. A display(108) displays service usage situations.
