METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR UNIFIED MANAGEMENT OF MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS

PURPOSE: A method and a system for the unified management of multimedia contents are provided to easily register the file information of a multimedia file to a unified multimedia contents manager. CONSTITUTION: A file storage(20) stores the multimedia file. A file information database(30) stores the file information of the multimedia file. A multimedia player(40) plays the multimedia file matched with the file information registered to the file information database. The unified multimedia manager(10) provides a file registration interface for registering the file information of the multimedia file to the file information database and performs the unified management for the multimedia player.
