PURPOSE: A bar code for petroleum and chemical products is provided to increase discrimination ability by adding a specific material to each of the petroleum and chemical products to bar-code a density range of the added specific material. CONSTITUTION: Bar codes for petroleum and chemical products are classified by kind of material to be added and its density. The material to be added includes organic and inorganic substances which do not exist in the petroleum and chemical products and further do not have influence on the quality of the petroleum and chemical products and environment. A density range of the organic and inorganic substances is from several ppb(part per billion) to ppm(part per million) that is analyzed by an analyzer. The bar code contains information related to a manufacturer of the petroleum and chemical products, the data of manufacture, and the like. |
