PURPOSE: An audio multichannel wireless LAN transceiver is provided to transmit multichannel audio signals at 1:n or 1:1 using a wireless LAN and to listen to received audio signals. CONSTITUTION: An audio multichannel wireless LAN transceiver consists of a wireless transmitter(100) and a plurality of wireless receiving terminals. The wireless transmitter(100) is composed of an A/D converter(101) and a wireless transmitting modem(102). The A/D converter(101) converts an analog audio signal, such as a TV or VTR signal, etc., sent from an audio output device(110) into a digital signal. The wireless transmitting modem(102) converts the digital audio signal into a wireless LAN type signal and transmits it to a plurality of wireless receiving terminals, located within an appointed distance, by wireless. The wireless transmitting modem(102) comprises a modulation part(105), an R/F transmitting module(107), and a control part(106). The modulation part(105) modulates and outputs the digital audio signal inputted from the A/D converter(101). The RF transmitting module(107) inserts the modulated audio signal in an RF signal and transmits it by wireless. The control part(106) overall controls the functions of the wireless transmitting modem(102).
