DUAL PANEL TYPE ORGANIC ELECTRO-LUMINESCENCE DEVICE AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A dual panel type organic electro-luminescence device and a fabricating method thereof are provided to simplify a fabrication process and enhance the productivity by reducing the number of mask processes. CONSTITUTION: A gate line(214) is formed to a first direction on a first substrate. A data line is formed to a second direction across the first direction. A power supply line(230) is formed to the second direction apart from the data line. An additional link line is formed at an intersection between the gate line and the power supply line. A switching TFT(Ts) is formed at an intersection between the gate line and the data line. The switching TFT includes a semiconductor layer, which is formed with amorphous silicon. A driving TFT(TD) is formed at an intersection between the switching TFT and the power supply line. The driving TFT includes the same semiconductor layer as the switching TFT. A connecting electrode(306) is connected to the driving TFT. A column-shaped electric connection pattern is formed within a region of the connecting electrode in order to connect an organic electro-luminescence diode to the connecting electrode. An insulating layer is formed between the gate electrode and the semiconductor layer. The insulating layer has a pattern structure corresponding to an ingredient of the semiconductor layer.
