<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch controller capable of obtaining more preferable clutch releasing mode. <P>SOLUTION: This clutch controller is applied to a vehicle wherein the torque of an internal combustion engine 11 is transmitted to a driving wheel 17 by a power transmitting system (drive shaft 16 and the like), and cuts off the transmission of the torque from the internal combustion engine 11 to a transmission 13 by releasing the clutch 14 through the operation of a clutch actuator 18. Further the magnitude of the torsional torque accumulated in the drive shaft 16 and the like is estimated on the basis of an estimate value of the torque of the internal combustion engine 11.
