SUBSTRATE CARRIER, COMPONENT PACKAGING SYSTEM, AND SUBSTRATE CARRYING METHOD IN COMPONENT PACKAGING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity by reducing the effect of a time required for feeding/discharging a substrate on the stopping time of component packaging operation in a component packaging system.

SOLUTION: After a substrate moved to a third substrate position by a substrate holding/moving unit while mounting components is delivered from above the substrate holding/moving unit to a substrate discharging holder, the substrate holding/moving unit is moved to a second substrate position without moving the substrate discharging holder and a new substrate is received at the second substrate position. Consequently, subsequent operations, i.e. an operation for moving the new substrate to the substrate packaging area by means of the substrate holding/moving unit and an operation for transferring a substrate already mounting components to an unloader section by means of the substrate discharging holder, can be carried out in parallel without being influenced each other.
