The device is equipped with an electronically operated control unit (13) provided with a critical value for the amount of fluid to be spread. When the amount detected by a first flow meter (15) exceeds the critical value a valve (17) located at a branch (20) of the supply duct is kept closed. If less fluid is transported the valve (17) is opened and the control unit (13) activated for a precise regulation of the spreading process.
